You know you’ve got too many cookery books when you buy a second copy because… well, you simply forgot  that you already had one!

And when this occurs more than once, you know you have a serious cookery book problem. Which is what happened recently Chez Rowe and it’s the reason Trota has taken the heart-rending decision to hang up her boots – chef’s hat, apron and all. Yes, too many cookery books, too little time. In the coming weeks and months our unsung hero will be focusing on… actually cooking. Also pursuing some other cartoon ideas that are, shall we say, in the pipeline.

Thank you to our lovely and loyal readership. Trota, Salmon and Fidget may return someday with more recipes and fun in the cartoon kitchen, but until then it is ‘cheerio for now’.
