After this moment of celebrity on day one, the Rowes thoroughly enjoyed their Lisbon city break. Lovely food, kind weather, friendly people, lots to see (old and new). Our favourites: pão de Deus of Padaria Portuguesa, the metro, random travels on tram and buses, Barrio Alto, funiculars, the Gulbenkian (for both music and art, not to mention the fantastic building and gardens), Cascais, Melody restaurant in Cascais (a hidden gem), the city views…
